Ruby, known in Japan as HadeHirari (ハデヒラリ), is a friend of Starfy's and Moe's main love interest. She is a pink zebra turkeyfish who always seems cheerful and enjoys putting on many fashionable clothing. She lives in a cute house located within the corals.
History
Densetsu no Starfy
In Densetsu no Starfy, Ruby was out with Moe when she was spotted by the mean sea snail named Konk who apparently had a crush on her, so he sent his two goons to deal with Moe while he kidnapped her, luckily a fallen star named Starfy saw Moe being bullied and aided him and he agreed to help him save Ruby. They then confronted Konk and easily defeated him allowing them to save Ruby, thus reuniting her with Moe.
Densetsu no Starfy 2
After being attacked by Puchi Ogura #2 outside her own home, Ruby loses some of her furniture. So Starfy and Moe help her find them. During the events of Ogura Castle, Ogura made an illusion of Ruby to lure Moe into a trap.
Densetsu no Starfy 3
Ruby moves to a different house near by, but some of her stuff were dropped. So Starfy, Moe, and Starly find the missing items, including Perfume, a Hand Mirror, a Compact Mirror and a Necklace. After returning the missing items to Ruby, she gives Starfy and Starly the Necklace Accessory.
Densetsu no Starfy 4
Ruby needed Starfy and friends to find her treasure in Cupid Village so they looked for it, but when they returned to her something didn't seem right. Moe realized it wasn't Ruby at all. It turned out to be Akureima in disguise. They then needed to find the real Ruby.
The Legendary Starfy
In The Legendary Starfy, she appears in Skydye Heights, taking a vacation. She gets gobbled up by a Fluffy Unu, she gets kidnapped by Snips, and she tells Starfy to obtain a Rainbow Droplet so she can cure Ronk and Papes.
