In Densetsu no Starfy 4, Gaganmo may make a minor appearance as one of the possible enemies on the Tree of Beginning map that can be tapped on the touch screen for Pearls.
Name Origin
Gaganmo's name is a reversal of the word モモンガ/鼯鼠, or the Pteromys momonga, the Japanese dwarf flying squirrel, as well as Ganmodoki, a food that the character himself loves to eat.
In Japanese, the Glide ability is referred to as the "Momonga" Jump in Starfy 1. However, starting with Gaganmo teaching Starfy the Glide, it was changed to the "Musasabi" Jump. (They both reference flying squirrels, but the latter references the Japanese giant flying squirrel instead of the dwarf flying squirrel).
