Moe's Family is the collective name for Moe's siblings in The Legendary Starfy (Kyorosuke Siblings, キョロスケきょうだい or Kyoro Siblings, キョロきょうだい in Japan) but are also called Moe's siblings on the Collection. They include a green clam, a pink clam, and a red clam. They are all younger than Moe. They are not confirmed to have official names, as they are referred as "Moe's younger brother," (the green one, Japanese: キョロスケおとうと) "Moe's younger sister," (the pink one, Japanese: キョロスケいもうと) and "Moe's other younger brother" (the red one, Japanese: キョロスケおとうと) in Densetsu no Starfy 3.
History
Moe's Family only appears in Staff Roll 2, where it is revealed that they wanted some meat, a teddy bear, and a Game Boy Advance, but Moe could not get them those things because they didn't have any money. Moe thought of finding treasure to get money, so outside of his house he wondered where to obtain it, but couldn't think of anything. Moe was sidetracked after he saw saw Ruby and followed her instead. Later after Starfy defeated Ogura, Moe was rewarded with Treasure for helping Starfy. Moe then uses the treasure to get the things his siblings wanted. They all dance happily afterwards. Moe's Family are also the last characters to appear in the Photograph.
Moe's Family can be seen running around in Moe's House. On the Dance screen, there is a one in ten chance that many siblings will appear in the background instead of fish. [1] They are also seen during the second staff credits in a flashback.
During the events in Coral Coast, Moe's Family were missing so Starfy and friends had to find them. After they're all found, they give Starfy face paint. They are also seen in Moe's House having a pillow fight with Starfy and Starly. Moe and his siblings are playable in a Minigame.
While in Cupid Village, Anju tells Moe that his siblings stole her bow and arrow, so Starfy has to find Moe's Family and get Anju's bow and arrow back. Anju even offered 10,000 pearls as a reward for anyone who finds Moe's Family, much to the frustration of Moe. Instead, Anju rewards Starfy, Starly and Moe with a treasure chest for returning her bow. They are also seen in Moe's House again.
Moe's Family will show up every once and a while to ask Starfy five questions. If the correct answers are given, they will tell Starfy some kind of trivia. They can also be seen on "The Moe Show" and have their own toy.
The Moe Show interview
- Moe: It's the Moe Show...with me, Moe! Today is a special show, because we've got my little siblings here!
- Moe's Family: Yo, Moe! We want to tell you that we're doing all our chores while you're gone! Our rooms are clean, we did laundry and dusting, I even made us dinner! Yeah, you can just keep going on adventures with Starfy and his friends! Don't worry about us!
- Moe: Oh, that's so sweet, guys! Wait a second...You haven't been cleaning MY room, have you? You stay away from my video games! I better not see a single clamprint on them!
Toy description
"Yay! It's my dear old family! One look at our shells and you see we're related!
They've been doing all the chores at home while I've been gone. Right, guys?!" (#100)
