Stages (Japanese: ステージ) are locations in The Legendary Starfy series that can be explored. In every game except for Densetsu no Starfy, they have playable Areas that can be selected from an Area Select, City or Map screen. In Densetsu no Starfy, Stages themselves are levels with multiple exits.

In games prior to The Legendary Starfy, the player can only revisit past Stages after beating the game once, after which they can be selected from the Stage Select. In The Legendary Starfy, the player can revisit past Stages at any time by pressing B on the relevant Stage's map screen.

Trivia

• Technically, the Stages in Densetsu no Starfy as selected from the Stage Select are different Stages to the ones prior to completing the game. If the player uses cheats to get past a Seal Block or access a similar post-game room from one of the Stages from prior to completing the game, the room exists but nothing will be there.
• Tiles exist in Densetsu no Starfy 2 for Stage numbers 12-14 and Stages 11-14 in Densetsu no Starfy 3, even though there are only 11 Stages in Densetsu no Starfy 2 and 10 Stages in Densetsu no Starfy 3. This possibly implies that more Stages were planned.
• Stages are referred to as Game Worlds on the official North American website for The Legendary Starfy, though they are not called this in game.
