They have no influence in the stories for both games and they basically just serve as multiplayer characters that players can use to play Minigames. In Densetsu no Starfy 3, a blue, green, yellow, and purple star appears on the Minigames screen on Moe's House and they are also available as multiplayer characters for Round and Round Trampon. In The Legendary Starfy, a red, blue, and green star are available as multiplayer characters along with Starfy.

Green Colored Star

A green character that is playable in Densetsu no Starfy 3 and The Legendary Starfy.

Yellow Colored Star

A yellowish character that is only playable in Densetsu no Starfy 3 that bares a strong resemblance to Starfy. He/she possibly got replaced by Starfy in The Legendary Starfy.

Purple Colored Star

Red Colored Star

Unused similar Densetsu no Starfy 4 characters

A green Starfy and a pink Starfy appears in unused models in the game, though the latter one has Stapy (the Japanese official romanisation for Starly) as its model name, and the green Starfy could have instead been based on Doppel. While it is possible, they could be based on The Colored Stars, their intended uses (if any at all other than to test models) are unknown.
