Viewing Gluglug Lagoon on Stage-Selection Map in The Legendary Starfy

"The Big Map" redirects here. For the tune in The Legendary Starfy, see The Big Map (music).

The Stage-Selection Map[1] (Japanese: ステージセレクト, Stage Select) is a menu in every game in The Legendary Starfy series. In The Legendary Starfy, the music for it is known in the Sea Jams as The Big Map (Japanese: 大マップ). It is a map where players can select individual stages and in each game where it appears except for Densetsu no Starfy, view their Area Select screens/City screen in Densetsu no Starfy 4. It is only available after beating the game once.

In addition to Stages, players can select a number of options from the Stage Select including the Shop, Moe's House or the Stuff Screen, or activate the List in Densetsu no Starfy. The Stage Select also displays how many Treasure Items have been collected for each Stage. In Densetsu no Starfy 4, the top screen shows how many Treasure Boxes have been opened, how many Tobira Majin riddles have been solved and how many Answers Cards have been selected for a certain Stage. In The Legendary Starfy, the player can save and access Moe's Case on the Stage・Selection Map using the L and R buttons, respectively.

In Densetsu no Starfy 2, the player receives an Item called the Treasure Map after the first ending which is implied to enable the Stage Select screen which is itself a large map.
