Fwip (Suin in Japan) is a fish enemy in the Nintendo DS games. They can puff themselves up, and create a shield in front of them if Starfy or Starly is too slow to defeat it using a Star Spin. If Starfy or Starly performs a Star Spin on a Fwip's shield, he/she will bounce back. When a Fwip has its shield up, it is only possible to defeat it by attacking it from behind. However, instead of trying to defeat it, Starfy or Starly can back off and wait. In a few moments, the Fwip's shield will go away, and the Fwip will be still gasping for air.
