Big Squiddy (Kyodai Ika in Japan, literally Giant Squid), also known as Squiddy on Starfy.com, is the first boss fought in The Legendary Starfy. He is a giant squid with a bad temper who kidnaps Bunston after Starfy and Moe fell on his head while he was sleeping, thinking Bunston did it.
Beating Big Squiddy
Mini boss
The player must on using Spicy Belly on his tentacles. This boss is very easy, as you cannot die.
Stage boss
This Boss is very easy. keep using Star Spins on his tentacles. He goes in two positions. The first position is that he holds two tentacles up. He may use them to slam the floor, which causes a rock to come down from the ceiling. This can easily be avoided by either dodging it, or attacking it. Big Squiddy may then go to the second position, where he takes one tentacle and move it across the screen. If Starfy or Starly touches the tip of his tentacle (except if attacking), Big Squiddy will grab him/her. Rapidly tap left and right on the D-pad to escape his grasp. Over wireless, the other player can just attack the tentacle to let the grabbed player out. After 10 hits, Big Squiddy is defeated.

“GYYAHH! Ahem… Heheh, sorry. Some people would find Big Squiddy scary. When I first saw this guy, I thought, “Eh, no big deal.” What? No, it’s true!”
JP Translation: “It’ll use its tentacles to grab you, throw you, and attack you. This thing’s the bully of the sea! It’s cause Big Squiddy nabbed Bunston that we had to chase after ‘em.”
