Boerun is a boss in Densetsu no Starfy. He has a saw nose and can only be hit from the back. He has red fish underlings. The Jellato Sisters tried to beat him once only to end up frozen. In the boss fight, Starfy must first defeat each of the red fish underlings. When this is done, Boerun will swim into the screen, giving Starfy a chance to attack. If the player battles Boerun again after defeating Ogura for the first time, Starfy will now require to defeat the red fish underlings in a specific order, the underlings being labeled with numbers.
Curiously, despite Boerun's ability to freeze The Jellato Sisters, Boerun does not use said ability in the boss fight.
