Glowing Mushrooms (Japanese: ひかるキノコ, Shiny Mushroom) are a special species of mushroom found in Sogwood Forest. As their name suggests, they have the ability to emit light from their caps which allows Starfy to see through thick fog. Glowing Mushrooms can share a symbiotic relationship with Coddies by attaching themselves to their heads thus creating a Capfish, this allows the Coddie to traverse through fog and poisoned waters. Glowing Mushrooms also have a small tail and what appears to be two small feet and some stick to the ground.
