Moe's Character Diagnosis (Japanese: キョロスケさまの キャラ診断, Kyorosuke-sama's Character Diagnosis) is a Flash game hosted on the official Japanese mini-site for The Legendary Starfy. The game asks a series of questions to find out which The Legendary Starfy character the player is most like.

It was accessible by clicking the Treasure Chest on the main page, but for unknown reasons accessing it this way is no longer possible. Instead, it can be accessed by clicking the "キョロスケさまのキャラ診断" text hyperlink (the first option of the second row), which opens up the game as a new window.

After completing the quiz, the player can view the profiles of other characters.

Diagnoses

Character Title Moe's Diagnosis Character Comment Extras
Starfy The Kind Prince of Pufftop Who Walks His Own Path "You always march to the beat of your own drum and tend to be a little careless, but you have a strong sense of justice. You just can’t ignore someone when they’re in trouble, can you? You’re a good-natured person who’s hard to hate. Basically, you’re a real stand-up guy who can light up the room you’re in. But you’re probably the type who gets tunnel vision when you work really hard on something. Do you get warned for not listening to people when they talk to you? Then make sure you listen to them!" Fi! (Moe: “You wanna know what your diagnosis is? You’d be ‘Starfy’ obviously!) Enthusiasm: 95%

Lucky Item: Sunglasses

Starly A Friendly and Dependable Girl With More Drive Than Starfy!? "She may be a rude brat who calls me “Clammy” all the time, but I respect that she’ll speak her mind no matter who she’s talkin’ to. These types of people may have friends no matter where ya go, but they also have a hidden timid and lonely side surprisingly. It’s fine to like talkin’, but sayin’ whatever whenever can get you in trouble, so be careful. Loose lips sink ships, y’know!" "This time around, I gotta stay behind and take care of Pufftop, but don't hesitate to call whenever you need me! He's a lil' unreliable, but take care of Big Bro for me!" Osaka-ism: 80%

Lucky Item: Takoyaki

Moe The Lovable, World-Wise Big Brother Who Tends to Get Carried Away "He’s cool, smart, the ultimate athlete, trusted by his friends, and irresistible to the ladies. He steals the show no matter what he does, and often serves as the brains of a certain someone. His friends may not be reliable, but friendship’s about lettin’ someone else take the credit. Now that’s what I call true manliness- Hm? Whaddaya want, Starf? “Aren’t I being vain saying all this about myself?” Sh-Shut it!" (From Moe’s Siblings)

"Our Big Bro might act like this, but at home, he’s really nice and takes really good care of us. Good luck on your adventure, Big Bro!"

Big Bro-ness: 70%

Lucky Item: Pearls

Bunston A Young Alien Boy With Power Hidden Within "I’d probably call you the earnest, modest honor student type. You’re the kinda person who might take a lil’ while to open your heart to new folks, but once you have, you dearly treasure the people you call your friends. You might usually be quiet and reserved, but when the going gets tough, you’re extremely determined. I’m sure you got your own troubles too… You’re allowed to complain about ‘em every once in a while." "Well, um… I’m very grateful to everyone I met on this journey. I feel like I can handle anything as long as we’re together!" Princliness: 90%

Lucky Item: Round Stones

Old Man Lobber Behind the Facade of an Amiable Old Man is the Great Sage of Pufftop "You’re the type who’s always calm and rarely gets angered by the little things. People also probably tend to rely on you, huh? You don’t tend to butt into things or stand out, but you have some kinda crazy powers you keep hidden, don’tcha!? But be careful! Some people might think you’re a lil’ odd cause of how easygoing you are!" "I wonder what you all will find on this journey... I'm looking forward to it. I cannot wait to see how much you all will grow! Hoh hoh hoh!" Sageness: 65%

Lucky Item: A Teacup

Mermaid A Soothing Presence. Beloved by All, and Always Closeby. "She’s kind, considerate, and constantly wears that smile. She feels like that cute girl nextdoor that everyone likes, doesn’t she? So you’ve gotta be the kind of person who soothes the soul of everyone around ya! You like to help any way you can, and a lot of people appreciate how helpful you are. Be careful though, some people might think you’re just a people-pleaser." “Hi! I’d be happy to help you guys on your adventures again! Just leave saving your game and healing to me!” Helpfulness: 80%

Lucky Item: A Seashell

Ruby Moe Pines for this Extremely Elegant Lady "M-M-M-Ms. Ruby!!! Her heart’s as pure as she is beautiful! She’s kind, considerate… And, of course, we’re destined to be together! There’s no doubt in my mind we’ll meet on this adventure too, Ms. Ruby~!

(Starly: You’re supposed to be givin’ a diagnosis! From what I can tell, she’s the romantic type with real high standards… maybe you should give up while you’re ahead, Clammy…)"

“There’s bound to be danger on such a long journey… From the bottom of my heart, I hope you all stay safe.” Glamorousness: 70%

Lucky Item: Lipstick

Shurikit A Stubborn, Hard-Worker Dead-Set on Becoming a Ninja "You’re passionate, have a strong sense of duty, and never forget someone’s kindness. You’re respectful and earnest, but there’s also something funny about you. You’re nimble, have some pretty light footwork, and active (though that only applies to ninjas). But, on the other hand, you can be restless and tend to make mistakes cause you’re rushin’, don’tcha? Then, once you do, that’s when you get real down in the dumps. But I think that’s what makes ya human, and that’s charmin’ in of itself!" “I can’t expurress how grateful I am to Master Starfy! This long road we call life is better with good compawny!” Can Do: 150 Push-Ups

Lucky Item: Grilled Fish

Snips The Ever-Reliable Older Sister and Leader of the Terrible Trio "Snips is part of the trio chasing after Bunston. You’re the masculine type who has leadership abilities and brings people together. You have a one-track mind, hate excuses, and don’t hold grudges after fights. What a refreshing person you are. You’re dependable and people tend to ask you for advice, don’t they? You’re pretty manly, but also attentive, caring, and also seem like a hard worker." "Which one of you called us the 3 Idiots? Don’t you dare underestimate us!" Manliness: 60%

Lucky Item: Leotard

Ronk The Powerful, Slightly Aggressive Eldest Son "Ronk’s part of the trio chasing after Bunston. People like this find it hard to express themselves with words. You’re straightforward and take good care of your friends and family. But be careful! You not being great with words means you can easily be misunderstood! You’re competitive and honest, so I bet you tend to improve at whatever you’re passionate about real fast, huh?" "This diagnosis… Gwaaaar!!!" Rowdiness: 55%

Lucky Item: Cannons

Papes He May Be Small, But Don’t Underestimate Him! The Youngest Child’s Hates to Lose. "Papes is part of the trio chasing after Bunston, and he’s the smallest/youngest of the three. You’re probably the type who talks tough, but you’re actually quite insecure and tell yourself to hide it deep inside. You always try your best, and that’s a good quality to have. You’re real picky and have a short temper, so you probably get into fights with others pretty often. Try to stay calm and listen to what people have to say!" "Who asked you!?" Childishness: 50%

Lucky Item: Braids

Mashtooth The Mysterious Big Bad "I haven’t heard much about Mashtooth, but he sounds like a pretty bad guy who’ll use any means necessary to get what he wants. So you might be pretty strong-willed yourself. But remember that there is such a thing as going too far. And look, I’m not sayin’ it’s a bad idea, but give up on world domination while you’re ahead!" "Power is everything… That’s why I want it!" Big Boss-iness: 80%

Lucky Item: A Throne

Trivia

  • Starly's "Osaka-ism" is a reference to her Kansai accent only present in the Japanese versions of the games she's in.
  • Snips's character comment referencing the "3 Idiots" might be a play on how The Terrible Trio are a variation of the "3 Evils" character trope popularised by the Time Bokan franchise.
