For other "switches", see Switch (disambiguation).

Bells (Japanese: カネ[1]) are objects in The Legendary Starfy that appear in Skydye Heights in areas 2, 3 and 6 (Area Secret 2). Bells are referred to as a type of "switch" among the blue water switches from Glitzem Grotto and ??? and the panels found in S.S. Logwater in the Nintendo Official Guidebook.

Bells are gold colored bells with a brighter star shape on them. They are attached to a white 'statue' structure that has a large white star and swirly 'S'/backward 'S' like 'arms' with curls at the end. The structure vaguely resembles the shape of a person standing, with their 'arms' forming an oval like gap.

Starfy can cause a bell to chime using his Star Spin. Doing this will wake up Huffinfluff, make him angry, and cause him to blow up wind and leaves that let Starfy soar to new heights. The wind lasts for a while but eventually Huffinfluff will fall back to sleep again. Additionally, the wind stops if Starfy enters a door (and re-enters the room with Huffinfluff).
