This article is related to a game, manga series or other media that has not been released outside Japan. The coverage here may differ from what it would be in an official translation.

Bells (Japanese: よびりん) are objects which allow the player to switch between Starfy and Starly can be found in Densetsu no Starfy 3 and Densetsu no Starfy 4 during the story.

In Densetsu no Starfy 3 they appear as silver bells attached to a dome-shaped base. In Densetsu no Starfy 4 they appear as golden bells attached to a dome-shaped base with a small icon above it that alternates between Starfy and Starly, with a red down arrow indicating that Starfy or Starly should touch it from the top of the bell.

Before completing the main story it is normally impossible to switch between Starfy and Starly at will without a Bell, however this later becomes possible without a Bell after completing the game using the Select button. This feature was removed in The Legendary Starfy.

Bells are a means of making parts of the story only available to Starfy or Starly, and also play a role in puzzles, as is the case in Gabun Ocean Trench in Densetsu no Starfy 3.
