The Shell Ataa (Japanese: シェルアター) is an item in Densetsu no Starfy 2 and Densetsu no Starfy 3. It does not appear on the Items List in both games. It is an orange tape player that is used to play the Shell Tapes.

The Shell Ataa is found in Ogura Castle (Stage 10-1). It is used to play the five Shell Tapes, although it seems that Starfy and Moe never get to see the contents of two of the Shell Tapes.
