The Flatfish is an unused character in Densetsu no Starfy 2. It appears in the test stage. The index number of the Flatfish is 06.

Curiously, the presence of the Flatfish may remove all of Starfy's pearls (though this was tested with having 9999 pearls, and it hasn't been confirmed if the exact number of pearls can affect the behavior) and may be an in-joke/Easter egg between TOSE staff.

Trivia

One of the Treasure Items is also a flatfish; but with a different design to this one.
Another Flatfish character exists in the game but is used, unlike this one. Namely, the vehicle enemy Hiramei and possibly Mokku(?), also a vehicle enemy.
