The Pufftop Scholar is a character who only appears in Densetsu no Starfy 3. He only appears after defeating Ogura for the first time. He is an old, wise scholar resembling both a star and a starfish who wears purple robes, a purple scholar hat, and sports a large white mustache and beard. He is a cutscene exclusive character who does not appear in the Trading Cards.
In the first ending of Densetsu no Starfy 3, Ogura was severely weakened. Evil had previously altered the appearance of Ogura's final form to make him more powerful, giving him large red eyes, sharp teeth, metal claws and large spike-like features protruding from his back. Despite these adjustments, Ogura was defeated once again by Starfy.
