The Green Foxtail (Japanese: ねこじゃらし) is an item in Densetsu no Starfy 3, found in Flamer Volcano (Stage 6-3). Its sprite is animated and shakes up and down. According to the item description, just shaking it causes cats to follow one playfully. Like the Silver Vine, Starly must carry it around to reveal the hiding place of Kittana. After Starly uses a Star Spin to reveal Kittana, he realizes that his art of hiding is not perfect and decides to teach Starly the Wall Jump ability. The Green Foxtail then disappears from the Items List.
