The Treasure Monster (トレジャーモンスター) is an enemy that only appears in Densetsu no Starfy 3 in certain levels of Misty Town. It is not a real treasure chest. It first appears near the end of level 3 where Mad Piero gave Starfy the Juggler Makeup treasure box with a fake treasure box that was actually a Treasure Monster to trick him. The Treasure Monster put Starfy in its mouth and Mad Piero jumped off with it.
If Starfy or Starly attempts to open a Treasure Monster, Mad Piero's laugh will be heard and it will chase after them revealing its teeth. In the Densetsu no Starfy manga illustrated by Yumiko Sudō, Moe mistakenly opened one of these treasure chests, only for it to bite him.

Trivia
- The Jaw Box enemies in The Legendary Starfy are very similar to Treasure Monsters. They are both fake treasure chests based on mimics, and behave the same way. However, the Jaw Box is mainly green instead of red.
