Sayori Abe (Japanese: あべ さより), also romanized as Sayori Ave is a Japanese cartoonist born in the 1960s, who worked on what may have been the first series of Densetsu no Starfy manga[1][2], preceding Yumiko Sudō's Densetsu no Starfy manga.
Some of her major works include the SALTY DOG and Wanko Mix manga. She is still working on the Doubutsu no Mori Hohinda-mura Da Yori manga; a manga series based on Animal Crossing that debuted in 2002.
