Not to be confused with the enemy Rousoku - meaning "Candle"
Candles (Japanese: ロウソク) are objects in Densetsu no Starfy 4. They are found in Old Tower. If Starfy or Starly touches a candle he/she will carry it over their head. When carrying a candle, it will light up the the surrounding area slightly. Candles can be used to burn wood. If a Candle touches wood it will engulf the wood in flames, destroying it, and disappear.
If while holding a Candle, Starfy or Starly touch a waterfall or a pool of water, it will extinguish the flame from the candle. The extinguished candle will disappear, and a lit candle will respawn in its original position.
In the story, at the end of Stage 8-3 there is a special candle with pink wax which must be used to light four Candlesticks. It will burn out if Starly is too slow to light them all, but will respawn.
