Evil Flowers (Japanese: じゃあくなはな), also known simply as Flowers (Japanese: はな) are obstacles in Densetsu no Starfy 4. They are found in Dejiru's Castle. If Starfy or Starly touches an Evil Flower, purple spiral shapes will temporarily surround Starfy or Starly that reverse the player's directions.
This means that 'right' becomes left, 'left' becomes right, 'up' becomes down, 'down' becomes up, 'B' becomes jump and 'A' becomes Star Spin. The Y button (Spill ability) is unaffected.
