"Mini Keepers"[1], are 'enemies' in Densetsu no Starfy 4. They are normally placed in areas where Starly is expected to use the Pufftop Barrier or where Starfy is expected to use the Powerful Spin. Mini Keepers are classified internally as enemies in the game, but do not appear in the Picture Book.

When hit by a Star Spin, a Mini Keeper will release a single large Pink Pearl from its knuckle-shaped container before growing another Pink Pearl and returning back to its original form. A Mini Keeper is defeated if it is hit a total of three/five times. Similarly to most enemies it will respawn if Starfy or Starly moves a certain distance away from the Mini Keeper and returns.

Unlike Pearl Sprites, Mini Keepers cannot attack and pose no harm to Starfy or Starly.

Similar The Legendary Starfy fruit

While it is unknown if this classifies as a Mini Keeper, there is a similar smaller fruit in The Legendary Starfy that grows on old trees in Hotcha Spring. If Starfy attacks it with his Star Spin, a Big Pearl may come out.
