Mayoinomon is a gate in Densetsu no Starfy 4 which only appears in Degil's Castle. It is a cursed version of Shinjitsunomon with bandages on its face and no glasses. In order to remove the bandages on its face, the player must locate the Real Glasses found in Stage 9-2, as part of the 'Test of Truth' (Japanese: しんじつのしれん).
After the glasses are returned to Mayoinomon, the bandages on its face will disappear and Mayoinomon will immediately turn back into Shinjitsunomon.
Trivia
- For unknown reasons, while as the edge of Mayoinomon's face is colored red, the edge of Shinjitsunomon's face is colored blue.
Name origin
- Probably from 迷い (mayoi) - doubt and 門 (mon) - gate. Both are linked with the particle の.
