Seal Blocks (Japanese: ふういんブロック), also known in the fan translation as sealed blocks are red blocks that appear to have Ogura's face on them. They only appear in Densetsu no Starfy. They are found in every stage, and lead to a door that takes Starfy to a hidden place, often where a Treasure Box can be found.
Seal Blocks can only be destroyed with a Star Spin after Starfy defeats Ogura for the first time and accesses a stage again through the Stage Select. The demo glitch can also be used to access the Stage Select before beating Ogura.
Trivia
- If the player uses cheats to enter a door through a Seal Block before accessing the stage through the Stage Select, the room will be different.
- Graphics for Seal Blocks are unused in Densetsu no Starfy 2, though they technically appear in the Test Stage in area 1 as seemingly part of the background in map 5. Starfy is free to move through them without breaking them.
