Tatsunomama (literally meaning Seahorse mama) is a female mother seahorse who acts as an ally to Starfy. She is the one that lets the player play Seahorse Kid Catch.
She leads the player to a room with moving spikes and a Kagibanrei to help Starfy complete the Picture Book if he meets her after beating the game and clears her minigame on hard.
