A Famitsu Cube + Advance magazine covering Densetsu no Starfy 2

Famitsu (Japanese: ファミ通) is a Japanese video game magazine series and website. It was formally known as Famicom Tsūshin (literally Famicom News), hence the shortened name "Famitsu".

The mascot of Famitsu is "Necky" the fox.

There are a number of sub-series of the magazine. Relevant to The Legendary Starfy series, these include Famitsu Cube (+Advance), Famitsu DS (+Cube)/(+Wii).

Famitsu have sometimes covered the The Legendary Starfy games, as early as Densetsu no Starfy (Game Boy Color) (Famitsu 64+ October 8/21 2000 and Weekly Famitsu September 1, 2000).[1] In addition, there have been merchandise based on the series by Famitsu, such as stickers and a promotional Densetsu no Starfy balloon.
