℃-ute (Japanese: キュート) is a Japanese pop group formed in 2005, consisting of five girls who are part of the Japanese talent agency Up-Front Agency. The group is associated with Hello! Project (Japanese: ハロー!プロジェクト), an umbrella name for all Japanese pop groups under the contract of Up-Front Group.

The main producer and songwriter is Mitsuo Terado (Tsunku♂), a popular Japanese record producer, songwriter and vocalist hired by the Up-Front Group who is also known for the general production and songwriting of games in the Rhythm Heaven series. [1]
