Balloon is an ability in Densetsu no Starfy and Densetsu no Starfy 2. It looks like a hot air balloon. When using it, Starfy holds on to the rope. It is taught to Starfy by Mekani-jiisan in both games.

In Densetsu no Starfy 2, Mekani-jiisan is found in World 2-3. The Balloon can be upgraded by meeting Mekani-jiisan again in the same location after defeating Ogura for the first time.
