Nintendo Power was North America and Canada's official Nintendo magazine that was originally published in-house by Nintendo of America. From issue #222 (December 2007), the magazine was published by Future US with licensing to Nintendo. The magazine ceased publication after the December 2012 issue, as it was announced that Nintendo would not renew their licensing agreement with Future Publishing on August 21, 2012. [1]
