''[[The Legendary Starfy]]'' has very few items. Items in this game are not listed in any items menu, except for Heart Gems which are stored on [[Bunston's Collection]]. Bunston's Collection stores up to three at a time but momentarily for a third. When a third Heart Gem is collected the Heart Gem icons are removed.

Obtaining the Pretty Shell in Densetsu no Starfy; an Item from Densetsu no Starfy and Densetsu no Starfy 3

Items (Japanese: アイテム) are objects in The Legendary Starfy series. Most can usually be collected and/or interacted with in some way. In games prior to The Legendary Starfy, collectible Items except for Pearls which are stored elsewhere are stored on an Items screen or the Pause menu in Densetsu no Starfy.

In Densetsu no Starfy 2 and Densetsu no Starfy 4, a few characters appear as Items. In Densetsu no Starfy 3, there are a few characters that Starfy and Starly must help that can be transported to different places, including Moe's siblings, the Konezu, Pakara and the Chibi-Sansho but they are not necessarily Items. They can be differentiated by the message "[Character] をたすけたよ", meaning '[Character] helped' when the player interacts with them.

Though not exactly Items, Stuff (Densetsu no Starfy-The Legendary Starfy), pieces of the Treasure Items panels (Densetsu no Starfy-Densetsu no Starfy 2) and music pieces (Densetsu no Starfy 2-Densetsu no Starfy 4) are different types of treasures.
