  • June 12, 2018 - During a Nintendo Direct presentation for E3, the game Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was revealed for Nintendo Switch, which was previously in development as an unnamed Super Smash Bros. game (also for Nintendo Switch). In this presentation, Starfy was confirmed as a returning Assist Trophy.
  • March 8, 2018 - A version of Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo Switch has been announced in today's Nintendo Direct. It is not known whether this is a new game or port of an older game, or if Starfy will make another appearance in the Super Smash Bros. series yet.
  • January 6, 2018 - Autumchild starts a series of YouTube videos for the fan translation of Densetsu no Starfy 4.
  • June 20, 2017 - Fan translation of Densetsu no Starfy is resumed by pablitox and Jamie after some work by Torchickens (translation), Normmatt (tools) the previous two years, with Torchickens returning to work on the project at a later date on June 27, 2017.
  • December 24, 2016-January 1, 2016 - Starfy Wiki wishes you a merry Christmas, as well as a happy Hanukkah and a jolly New Year!
  • September 23, 2016 up to September 25, 2016 - This date marks the start of NIWA's first Cross-Wiki Weekend to celebrate Nintendo's birthday, in which wiki editors edit NIWA wikis that they have never (or have infrequently) edited before! Why not join in with a chance to win a $20 Nintendo e-Shop Gift Card!
  • April 1, 2016 - Account creation has sadly been disabled for regular users, due to spam and incompatibility of the old 'CAPTCHA' for the latest version of MediaWiki. Please contact Torchickens via email with a username of your choice. They will provide a temporary password for you to change.
  • March 31, 2016 - An Event Course named "Starfy: Prince of Pufftop" or " "Starfy, Prince of Pufftop Palace" becomes available for Super Mario Maker. A Starfy form of Costume Mario becomes available after completing it.
  • September 24, 2015 - A new dedicated forum about the Legendary Starfy series was started! Feel free to check it out if you love Starfy, or would just like a nice place to hang out.
  • July 4, 2015 - Congratulations to Inkipedia, who became the twenty-third member of Nintendo Independent Wiki Alliance today! Inkipedia is a wiki focused on Nintendo's Splatoon franchise; which got its debut Wii U game in May of this year.
  • April 10, 2015 - We have started a petition to spread our support for Starfy as a playable character in the Super Smash Bros. series. If interested, please consider signing the petition to spread your support as Starfy as a playable character, share it with your friends, and encourage people to vote for him in the Smash Bros. Fighter Ballot.

  • December 25, 2014 - Merry Christmas from Starfy Wiki! The main page has been updated with some Starfy related links. With Super Smash Bros. for Wii U having been released for over a month internationally, will we ever see Starfy make a game appearance again?
  • September 1/2, 2014 - Starfy re-appears as a regular trophy in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS. This was revealed in an All-Star Mode screenshot posted on Miiverse by director Masahiro Sakurai.
  • July 1, 2015 - A new wiki is set to join NIWA on July 4! Check back then to see which wiki it is!
  • January 17, 2013 - The Hard Drop Tetris Wiki becomes the latest member of NIWA! Hard Drop is "a Tetris community for all Tetris players, regardless of skill or what version of Tetris you play".
  • February 19, 2013 - Starfy Wiki has reached 1,000 articles on February 19, 2013!
  • November 27, 2012 - Starfy Wiki has reached 900 articles on November 22, 2012!
  • September 30, 2012 - Thanks to our webmaster, Michael ('Tappy') Starfy Wiki now has a Facebook group, and a Twitter! You can follow us for the latest site news and events.
  • September 13, 2012 - Fellow NIWA wiki, F-Zero Wiki has officially opened its forums! Make sure to pay them a visit at Mute City Forums.
  • July 15, 2012 - Starfy Wiki is affiliated with Gam1ng.com. Gam1ng is a network aimed at bringing people together with a common interest in video games.
  • April 23, 2012 - Starfy Wiki has reached 800 articles on April 23, 2012!
  • April 8th, 2012 - Happy Easter holidays from Starfy Wiki!
  • March 30th, 2012 - Congratulations to Dragon Quest Wiki, the newest member of NIWA! Also a member of the SEIWA, Dragon Quest Wiki is a collaborative source for knowledge about the Dragon Quest series.
  • March 24th, 2012 - Starfy Wiki has now affiliated with Wikisimpsons! The wiki about the Simpsons!
  • March 23rd, 2012 - Congratulations to Icaruspedia, the ever-growing Kid Icarus Wiki who became full members of NIWA today. The date was chosen to mark the launch date of Kid Icarus: Uprising in North America and Europe.
  • March 18, 2012 - One year ago today, NIWA friend, Axiomist (Joshua LeJeune) passed away. Starting as an administrator on Zelda Wiki, then founding member of NIWA and owner of WiKirby, his passion and dedication to NIWA and many other websites remains imprinted in many projects to this day. Our thoughts are with Josh's family through this difficult time.
