Densetsu no Starfy for the Game Boy Color was a tentative Starfy title which was eventually canceled. It is assumable that any initial plans of releasing Densetsu no Starfy for the Game Boy Color were abandoned, in anticipation of the release of the Game Boy Advance (which was previously given the tentative name 'AGB' or 'Advanced Game Boy'). In its replacement, Densetsu no Starfy was released for the Game Boy Advance on September 6, 2002.
