It seems Japanese restaurants promoted The Legendary Starfy series at some point by making food that resembles Starfy (a practice of theming food on game characters that happens sometimes in Japan). This included an obscure balloon which is darker than the Famitsu and game store balloons.[1]
Though this information was available in the 2000s, it's possible that a lot of it is now lost to time.
