I heard about the series roughly in 2004. I was already interested in the series, but had no means to get the games at the time. Eventually when the Legendary Starfy came out in America, my brother got it and he let me play it a lot. I then got the still-Japanese-only games one by one. About a year or so later, I got the first two volumes of Yumiko Sudō's Starfy manga. That's about it really.

It all started when I was looking for something Starfy related on the internet. Unfortunately I do not remember what I was looking for. Possibly a Starfy fan-site or forum. I ended up finding the Starfy Wiki. I took a look around and thought it looked nice, but could use more work. I just left believing I wouldn't be any help. A couple days later I went back for reasons I don't remember. By this time, I already knew more about the Japanese Starfy games than the average non-Japanese Starfy fan. As I looked around I found a flaw in Ogura's article. I couldn't help fixing it, and since I knew I could do it anonymously I fixed the problem. Then after I got the welcome message saying that registered users have more options and get credited for edits, I decided to register so I could help out more. I thought "Why not? There's no other site like this and I could really help with information about the Japan-only games! This site doesn't seem popular, so it's not like I could make it worse." I used the name I always use when it's available. As I started editing a lot I learned how to make links, templates, categoies, etc. I started to go crazy with adding info and articles no matter if the wiki was active or quiet, but useful info. ==Q and A==
*Q What do you do here?
*A I translate Japanese names of characters, minigames, stages, options, abilities, and more. I want to help the Starfy fans that don't know Japanese know more about the Japan-only games! I also add English stuff when they haven't been added already.
*Q Are you Japanese?
*A Nope. I just learn Japanese and the only other language I know is well, English!
*Q How many Starfy games do you have?
*A All of them! If you don't count the Japanese version of [[The Legendary Starfy]], but I plan to get that!
*Q What's your favorite Starfy game.
*A I would have to say either [[Densetsu no Stafy 2]] or [[Densetsu no Stafy 4]]. I don't know why. The even numbers... interesting.
*Q Who's your favorite Starfy character?
*A Gee, I have a hard time choosing favorites, but I would have to say [[Starly]], [[Konk]], [[Shurikit]], [[Kittana]], [[Snips]], [[Bunston]], and [[Puchi Ogura]] #5.
*Q How long have you been a Starfy fan?
*A Although I've wanted a Starfy game for a long time, I didn't get one until I got the Legendary Starfy on June 23th 2009.
*Q Would you pair any Starfy characters as a couple?
*A Yes, but I won't say who unless someone wants to know.
*Q What other game series do you play?
*A Lots of 'em. Super Mario, Sonic the Hedgehog, Kirby, Pokémon, Star Fox, Pikmin, Smash Bros, etc. I'll add more another time if you wanna know more.
*Q Do you go on other wikis?
*A Yes, but I'm not as active in any of them as I am here.
*Q How come you usually put stages, minigames, and abilities from Japan-only games in English, but characters in Japanese?
*A Ah, good question! You see, stages, minigames, and abilities are usually normal words that can easily be translated, but characters often have names that are puns on Japanese words so they usually can't be translated. For example, Shurikit's Japanese name Nyanja is a pun on ninja and nya (Japanese meow). I couldn't put it as Meowninja or Meowja, could I? Ah ha ha! Anyway, in the case of [[Taruika]] and any other characters whose names can be translated, I just put them in Japanese anyway unless they're based on English words like [[Lovely]] and [[Evil]].
*Q Are you on any other website?
*A Yeah, but until I add links here, you'll have to find me the hard way. Fufufu...
*Q How come you almost never add images?
*A Originally it was because most of my work was done on the Wii's Internet Channel. Now, it's simply because I never have any useful images.
That's it for now, but if you have a question, ask away and I might add it here!
I'll help however I can!

History (series)

I heard about the series roughly in 2004. I was already interested in the series, but had no means to get the games at the time. Eventually when the Legendary Starfy came out in America, my brother got it and he let me play it a lot. I then got the still-Japanese-only games one by one.
