A cap resembling Luigi's Cap without the "L" made a cameo as one of the Treasure Items in Densetsu no Starfy (coordinates x=6, y=2 on the panel counting the bottom-left item as 1,1), found in Pufftop. It is officially called "Luigi's Cap" in the Nintendo Official Guidebook. (
