In the The Legendary Starfy, Red Pearls appear as items in level 1-2 of Gluglug Lagoon, in Side Quests. Herman has lost his 5 Red Pearls. Red Pearls are very rare, and there are only 5 of them in the whole game - but they all belong to Herman, so you can't have any. Luckily, there are even more rare Heart Gems that you can collect, but that's beside the point. In the Side Quest, you must help Herman find his 5 Red Pearls. Herman will then grant you access to Gluglug Lagoon Secret Level 1.
