Summary

Hi, I'm Evie (Torchickens). I'm currently the editor-in-chief of Starfy Wiki. It's nice to meet you. :)

I've been a HUGE fan of the The Legendary Starfy series since 2010 for its lighthearted presentation, but the deep themes covered in the series when you look close enough into the games. Furthermore, the storytelling is often engaging and emphatic.

I also like to research Pokémon games for their glitches in my free time.

It was a pleasant surprise to see Starfy and his friends returning to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (´･ω･`), but because it's been so long I've lost some of my knowledge about the series other than the characters and basic plot-lines. I love this series very much though, please come back Starfy-sama! ;w;

I want to express my thanks to The Forgotten Beast (Talk), Kagegamer12 (Talk), Star Light (Talk) and Starphoria (Talk) the founder BattleFranky202 (Talk), and the host Michael (Talk) without them this wiki wouldn't be where it was today.

Strong-points

If you need my help, I can gladly help with any of the following. If you're unsure about something, whether it be about the series, the Wiki in general or something else, feel free to ask me a question and I'll try my best to get back to you.

• Have played the games and own most of the merchandise; so can also help with the manga and guidebook specific details. Unfortunately I'm afraid I don't have a scanner anymore, sorry.

• Know limited Japanese, at the least can recognise the hiragana/katakana by sight; so can help with romanisation/character recognition if struggling. I can decipher some sentences with a dictionary.

• I can recognize hiragana and katakana, and romanise the names of aspects of the series, but I'm unexperienced with forming Japanese into sentences.

Personality

I'm an ambivert, this means for me I'm sometimes introverted in being a quiet sometimes shy person who wants to do their own things alone. Other times with close friends I open up and become chatty. I'm a deep thinker, but sometimes my thinking can get too deep.

I'm on the autistic spectrum, which means sometimes social communication doesn't come too natural to me, but I still get deep emotions, I just tend to be more receptive and how to express them exactly can be difficult. Other times, a 'shift' can occur and I become quite a sassy expressive person. On the former, this can mean I would rather wait until they phase through, than move out of my comfort zone, and risk doing something if it's not in my heart. On the latter, I can be full of incentive, enthusiasm and energy but deeply emotional, or curious, or make a decision that is not so wise (such as an impulse buy or staying up all-night) at worst.

I feel with me, it may just be best to do the things you enjoy when you feel the love for them rather than on compulsion, which is why I find self-discipline in terms of sticking to structure difficult, (and it doesn't help sometimes I'm more in the mood to play games at night) although interestingly if someone else is there I would follow the structure.

I identify as female. I love skirts, dresses, makeup, eyeliner and feminine cute things; and wanted to be know as female as a sense of self-culture, identity and because it makes me feel happy.

I like all people, but am always too shy to meet up with my in real life friends.

I am feminist, both men and women should be able to do what they want and how they feel regardless of society's perceptions of masculine and feminine. I feel these words themselves are loaded with covert connotations that masculinity belongs to men and femininity belongs to women, while it doesn't have to be that way; and nature has illustrated diversity in gender roles with its many different species.
