Hi, I'm Evie (Torchickens). I'm currently the editor-in-chief of Starfy Wiki. It's nice to meet you. :)
 
I've been a HUGE fan of the [[The Legendary Starfy (series)|''The Legendary Starfy'' series]] since 2010 for its lighthearted presentation, but the deep themes covered in the series when you look close enough into the games. Furthermore, the storytelling is often engaging and emphatic.
 
I also like to research Pokémon games for their glitches in my free time.
 
It was a pleasant surprise to see Starfy and his friends returning to ''[[Super Smash Bros. Ultimate]]'' (´･ω･`), but because it's been so long I've lost some of my knowledge about the series other than the characters and basic plot-lines. I love this series very much though, please come back Starfy-sama! :(
 
I want to express my thanks to {{user|The Forgotten Beast}}, {{user|Kagegamer12}}, {{user|Star Light}} and {{user|Starphoria}} the founder {{user|BattleFranky202}}, and the host {{user|Michael}} without them this wiki wouldn't be where it was today.

===Personality===
I'm an ambivert, this means for me I'm sometimes introverted in being a quiet sometimes shy person who wants to do their own things alone - recently like an ironwoman. Other times with close friends I open up and become chatty. I'm a deep thinker, but sometimes my thinking can get too deep.


I'm on the autistic spectrum, which means sometimes social communication doesn't come too natural to me, but I still get deep emotions, I just tend to be more receptive and how to express them exactly can be difficult. Fortunately I'm training these skills; and immersing myself with friends who understand me, as I can be a worry pot. Other times, a 'shift' can occur and I become quite a sassy expressive person. On the former, this can mean I would rather wait until they phase through, than move out of my comfort zone, and risk doing something if it's not in my heart. On the latter, I can be full of incentive, enthusiasm and energy but deeply emotional, or curious, or make a decision that is not so wise (such as an impulse buy or staying up all-night) at worst.
I used to create/edit articles here with {{user|The Forgotten Beast}}, {{user|Kagegamer12}} and {{user|Star Light}} (the original wiki was founded by BattleFranky). Currently, I'm just trying to make sure this wiki is in good health and clear out the spam bots that keep appearing. I only really edit [https://sanriowiki.com/wiki/Sanrio_Wiki Sanrio Wiki] nowadays in terms of new information, and less often [https://niwanetwork.org/wiki/Main_Page NintendoWiki], which Toa 95 usually looks after.


I feel with me, it may just be best to do the things you enjoy when you feel the love for them rather than on compulsion, which is why I find self-discipline in terms of sticking to structure (initially; but my own mother who has become like [[wikipedia:Athena|Athena]] is teaching me and I'm learning fast!) difficult, (and it doesn't help sometimes I'm more in the mood to play games at night) although interestingly if someone else is there I would follow the structure.  
I gather.. in 2009 when the original wiki started Starfy was still a modern franchise; since [[The Legendary Starfy]] (the fifth game) had just released. A year or two after, I was interested in the game and the original Starfy 1 for Game Boy Advance. I became really passionate about the series then :] I still do love Starfy, but my enthusiasm has faded a little.. like a Blaziken that's starting to lose its flame (well kind of like my passions in life in general) :[ it's not all bad though; it's quite nice to be more indifferent to things (can lead to healthier patterns re: less attachment). Now it's 2024; that's almost 15 years since Starfy 5, so now this Nintendo DS game is retro in a sense xD.


I identify as female. I love skirts, dresses, makeup, eyeliner and feminine cute things; and wanted to be know as female as a sense of self-culture, identity and because it makes me feel happy.
Also I still miss everyone else (TFB, Kagegamer12, Star Light) and wonder how they are. I've started to shy with age too.


I like all people, but am always too shy to meet up with my in real life friends. I'm attracted to both women and men, but sexually find men more attractive as of recent.
But God and Christ are helping me reconnect. :]


I am feminist, both men and women should be able to do what they want and how they feel regardless of society's perceptions of masculine and feminine. I feel these words themselves are loaded with covert connotations that masculinity belongs to men and femininity belongs to women, while it doesn't have to be that way; and nature has illustrated diversity in gender roles with its many different species.

I know Japanese to about a child's level, and basic grammar (elementary to pre-intermediate). I'm always catching up, but I'm still not very good. A Kirby fan from Hong Kong helps correct me.
I've grown more accepting of reptiles and snakes too, which represent fertility and ancient motherhood. I want to learn a little about Egyptian or Arabic. I get very emotional nowadays, and have a fierce side that feels uncomfortable but learning not to suppress; otherwise happy (transgenderhood is no exaggeration intense). I am also experiencing 'phantom' side effects (such as moodiness due to lack of oestrogen to help yet).

Other games I really like but abandoned due to getting stuck on: Space-Net: Cosmo Red and Cosmo Blue and Koto Battle: Tengai no Moribito (I learned about these from an obscure gaming fan). On hindsight they're inspired by ancient cultures like China and Egypt!

Torchickens of Starfy Wiki

I used to create/edit articles here with The Forgotten Beast (Talk), Kagegamer12 (Talk) and Star Light (Talk) (the original wiki was founded by BattleFranky). Currently, I'm just trying to make sure this wiki is in good health and clear out the spam bots that keep appearing. I only really edit Sanrio Wiki nowadays in terms of new information, and less often NintendoWiki, which Toa 95 usually looks after.
