Glitches are anomalies in software programs, such as video games. Glitches allow players to perform actions that were not intended by the game developers. A term related to glitches is 'bugs'. Bugs are specific problems in the game's programming that allow faults to happen. "Glitching" is a term used to describe recreating unintended behavior in the game.
An example of a glitch in The Legendary Starfy series is the Imadame glitch from Densetsu no Starfy. The Imadame glitch allows Starfy's HP to underflow from 0 to 255 hearts by getting caught by Imadame during the 'no hearts' sequence.
