Starfy Translation Project Update?

Long time no see, Torchickens! I just saw your message now. Life is taking a toll on me now. This year, I got a part-time customer service helpdesk job at the company Blayze Games and will be learning iOS game asset development soon.

I am wondering if there is any additional information on the Starfy translation project as the romhacking.net thread is silent. There were a handful of people on the Starfy Discord server that were discussing about translations for the first 4 games. One of them, Budew222, said he has the skills to transcribe the text into English but is staying away until he can find a fan translation team.

Sorry to hear that, that's relatable, hope things improve. Happy to hear that you got a new career, though! :) Yes, sorry I've stayed silent on the fan translation and stepped down because my Japanese skills aren't that good. Not much work from me ever got published though, I did up to Stage 3 (Stranded Whale) but I lost the work and it's not on the (private) Google Drive, although I think up to Stage 2 got done. The last time I spoke with Pablitox he was still working on the project (although he does the technical work like graphics dumping), and I told him I'd still offer assistance if he needs it. I'm unsure if he has found someone else with the skills to translate. I'll leave him a message, and tell him about Budew222 the next time I see him as soon as possible. --Torchickens (talk) 10:55, 29 September 2018 (UTC)
