Welcome

Welcome!
Welcome to The Legendary Starfy Wiki. The wiki about the Legendary Starfy series that anyone can edit!

Should you wish to contribute, here are great starting points:

  • Help:Editing will give you a tutorial on wiki markup, from basic editing to more advanced tagging. Wiki markup is simple to learn and easy to remember.
  • Your userpage is a great place to tell the wiki about yourself, if you want to make one.
  • Recent changes allows you to see what pages other people have been editing, and it gives you a good idea on where you can start helping.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask any of our administrators on their respective talk pages, and make sure you sign your name on talk pages with 4 tildes "~~~~".

We hope that you make many legendary contributions!

Chinese names

Wow, thanks Dimedime for filling out the list! :) Torchickens (talk) 18:45, 20 April 2020 (UTC)

No problem. We got lucky with how the Chinese text is encoded. Both Starfy Chinese prototypes use a table based on GB2312 encoding with minor adjustments. I can scrape all the text that isn't compressed, but I can't read most of the text without help from translators. Dimedime (talk) 20:30, 21 April 2020 (UTC)

Hotarubi video

Yes external links are fine, too. ^^ Interesting find, thank you so much! Torchickens (talk) 04:54, 1 February 2021 (UTC)

Thank you

Thanks for your research and on the test stages! I think I remember a site for generating codes/encrypting them, apparently all you need for modern code pseudo-ROM patch code is raw memory address (and maybe a master code if encrypted, possibly previous value too? unsure)? There are programs like ARCrypt which do it. However, if you need a master code I don't know sorry. Torchickens (talk) 11:49, 5 February 2021 (UTC)

Insect

Nice find! ^^ How did you get it? Torchickens (talk) 05:47, 17 February 2021 (UTC)

Thanks (2)

Wow! Thank you for finding those revision differences, and making the video. I haven't properly looked at it, but I wonder if there's a reason for some of the slightly different places (maybe e.g. some kind of issue with staying on Puffy Wario and entering a door that's in the air like that/what if you get squashed by the ceiling and enter it at the same time?). Torchickens (talk) 18:28, 19 February 2021 (UTC)

Besides fixing the Mermaid glitches, we can only speculate. As for that door, there's plenty of room between the door and the ceiling, so I don't think the double interaction that you described would happen. There doesn't seem to be a reason I can think of that these objects were slightly moved. Dimedime (talk) 00:20, 20 February 2021 (UTC)

Thank you

I don't know if tags are your thing; but traditionally we give this to people who have really helped out the wiki. In your case, your datamining skills. Thank you very much.

Hey, thanks! It's been a pleasure to be around. That Nintendo Switch Online announcement could bring in more folks.
Anyways, I'm not very comfortable with socials, so I'd like to share something I've worked on. Subject to changes or edits, as always. Dimedime (talk) 02:02, 12 July 2024 (UTC)
