Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga (known in Japan as Mario & Luigi RPG, マリオ&ルイージRPG) is a role-playing video game for the Game Boy Advance, starring Mario and Luigi. It was developed by AlphaDream, with minigames from Vanpool and published by Nintendo. The game was followed by two sequels, Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time and Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, both for the Nintendo DS. A third entry in the Mario & Luigi series, known as Mario & Luigi: Dream Team (Mario & Luigi: Dream Adventure, マリオ&ルイージRPG4 ドリームアドベンチャー) in Japan, will be released for the Nintendo 3DS during winter 2013.
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga takes place in the Beanbean Kingdom. Mario and Luigi join forces on a quest to recover Princess Peach's voice and stop the evil witch Cackletta from awakening the power of the legendary Beanstar which has the ability to grant wishes and fulfill anyone's greatest desires.
As with games in the Super Mario Advance series, a remake of the Mario Bros. arcade game with multiplayer was included in the game.
