Welcome Starfish and thanks for your edit. RE: Fat Cat's Japanese name, I looked through the text dump and it seems Manazudon is one of the typos Moe makes. Checking the Picture Book/Trading Cards in Starfy 1-3 it's Namazudon. I haven't checked Japanese Starfy 5 but if I can relocate my copy will let you know if it's still Namazudon too. Torchickens (talk) 21:11, 8 August 2020 (UTC)

Update: It's Namazudon is Japanese Starfy 5 too and can't find the typo there, anyway I've added the Starfy 1 Moe conversation that calls him Manazudon to the article, thanks! ^^. Torchickens (talk) 21:25, 8 August 2020 (UTC)

First of all, thanks for the welcome. Well, I'm glad I stumbled on new info. I'm actually new to the Starfy series (playing it anyway, I've known about it for nearly 15 years now... I'm old), and just happened to notice this while playing the game and looking up character bios here. Anyway, "namazu" is the Japanese word for cat fish, so the name "Namazudon" makes more sense. By the way, the typo doesn't just appear in Moe's dialogue but also appears in Fat Cat's dialogue box when he talks (the part of the box where it displays the character's name, not the dialogue itself) - this is actually where I saw the typo. It's a bit hard to find in the text dump you posted, but I was able to verify. Search for <red>マ<red>ナ<red>ズ<red>ド<red>ン<endname><line> and there appear to be five instances of this occurring - which may actually be every time he talks in the game, though I'm not 100% sure about this. You're welcome. ^^ Ah, with me I've known it since about 2008 (or maybe a few years earlier with references on game sites like Wario being in Starfy 3) but haven't properly replayed the games since a long time ago. (I'm quite old too). Hope you enjoy playing through the series! :) I see, thanks! I used Ctrl+F but forgot to search through the red text. Torchickens (talk) 13:50, 10 August 2020 (UTC)
