Princess Peach is a character in the Mario series who acts as Mario's love interest and a damsel-in-distress. She made a cameo as Starfy and Starly's costume in Densetsu no Starfy 4. Peach also appeared as a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Starfy appeared as an enemy in Super Princess Peach, probably because the game was developed by TOSE who develop The Legendary Starfy games.
Biography
Densetsu no Starfy 4
Peach made a cameo appearance in Densetsu no Starfy 4 as a costume for Starfy and Starly. If Starly wears the costume, she'll carry Perry, the magical talking parasol who helped Princess Peach in Super Princess Peach. The Peach costume was one of the winning costume designing contest in Japan.
Super Princess Peach
Starfy appeared in World 2-5, 5-5, and 6-4 as an enemy called "Starfish" in Super Princess Peach. In the game's glossary, it describes the enemy as "A star-shaped foe rumored to be the prince of a kingdom?".
Areas Starfy appears
- In World 2-5, he swims back and forth in a shallow area of water, and he will jump up into the sky and leave. Peach must hit him as he jumps up.
- In World 5-5, he's asleep on the grass. Peach must walk slowly up to him, then attack him, so he doesn't wake up.
- In World 6-4, he's standing on a ledge above where the player is. He'll leave after a few seconds. To reach him, Peach must use her Gloom power.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Princess Peach returned in Super Smash Bros. Brawl with a redesigned dress to be based on her recent appearances. Peach still has her floating abilities and her moves from Super Smash Bros. Melee.
Super Smash Bros. Moves
Toad
Toad is Peach's neutral special move in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Peach will bring out Toad to shield her, absorb any attack, then send spores back to the opponent. Kirby could use Toad if he inhales Peach's powers.
Peach Bomber
Peach Bomber is Peach's side special move in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Peach will leap forward, twirl and ram an enemy with her rear. In contact with another player, it will cause a heart explosion. The attack is Peach's strongest move, it could leave her open for enemy attack. It is very effective when she is battling multiple opponents.
Peach Parasol
Peach Parasol is Peach's up special move in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It is a recovery move as well as doing little damage. She smashes up with a white Parasol and damages any players who it hits. She then comes down, safely gliding down on her parasol, acting as one of the most useful third jumps in both games. Furthermore, the parasol can be closed during flight to fall quickly.
Vegetable
Vegetable is Peach's down special move in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. When it's plucked out of the ground, Peach can throw vegetables at other players, which will bounce off of opponents. This can also work to her foes advantage, however, as any character can catch them. The vegetables do a varying amount of damage, depending on their facial expression. Sometimes, Peach will pull a Beam Sword, a Bob-omb, or a Mr. Saturn out of the ground.
Peach Blossom
Peach Blossom is Peach's Final Smash in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The Final Smash allows Peach to either attack her opponents or restoring her own health. While Peach's opponents are sleeping by the Peach Blossom, peaches will fall down onto the stage and Peach can eat them to restore her health; however, Peach's opponents could eat the peaches if they wake up.
