Shogakukan (小学館 Shōgakukan) are a large publisher of dictionaries, literature, manga and other media based in Japan. Shogakukan are the publishers of the Densetsu no Starfy manga illustrated by Yumiko Sudō, the predecessor illustrated by Sayori Abe (which appeared in the now discontinued Shogakukan Grade Comics) and the manga series, Densetsu no Starfy R.
Shogakukan are also the publishers of CoroCoro Comic, in which issues of the Densetsu no Starfy (Yumiko Sudō) and Densetsu no Starfy R manga were regularly submitted to the magazine. They have also published The Legendary Starfy series strategy guides in Japan under the Wonder Life Comics (Wonder Life Special) imprint, which were officially licensed by Nintendo.
