It isn't working for me either. I remember that you told me this before (back in September) but then the Favicon showed up for me and I assumed that it may have been fixed. I think that may have simply been a cache related thing, however. I have a new laptop now and the Favicon isn't appearing. I'll contact Tappy. Thanks! Welcome back!
We haven't really been doing that much since you were gone. I've basically just been adding artwork to pages, and we've unfortunately still been getting a lot of spam. I hope that you got your laptop fixed. --Torchickens 19:25, 14 March 2012 (EDT)
- Nice! Yeah I know that feeling, sometimes its best to just get something new. I remember when my old laptop broke, it started with a problem with the battery in which as soon as you took the charger out, the laptop went flat :/. Apparently, the battery itself had broken (my fault for leaving the charger in) but then another problem occurred in which the whole screen seemed to 'burn in', so I left it because paying for repairs would have probably cost a considerable amount for a laptop that was probably going to die in a few years.
- Also, wow! That's really surprisingly, we aren't too far from Strategy Wiki, (though that would be a really large push) but a lot of that is probably all the artwork that needed to be uploaded for the Game Boy Advance games. Hooray for Starfy Wiki!! It's really sad Lylat Wiki only has 0.03% of all activity now though... --Torchickens 19:48, 14 March 2012 (EDT)
F-Zero Wiki icon
Hi Starphoria. Do you (or other F-Zero Wiki staff) have any preferences for the F-Zero Wiki icon on the NIWA Template? I decided to add the favicon of Captain Falcon's face because it was the first one that I could immediately find. I realise that there is an alternative icon which is a yellow version of the F-Zero logo from Super Smash Bros. Brawl, which one do you prefer? --Torchickens 17:21, 16 March 2012 (EDT)
- All right then. --Torchickens 11:42, 17 March 2012 (EDT)
Thanks again
I just wanted to thank you for leaving everyone the message while I was absent yesterday. If you'd like, we can meet up on IRC today via Gamesurge (assuming that it works for you, see my reply here) and discuss things there. If it doesn't, maybe we could discuss things via Twitter, if that's OK with you? In reply to your question, The Forgotten Beast (Talk) said that he wouldn't be as active because he needs to work on Toriko Wiki. He seems to be currently active on Toriko Wiki right now. I'll send him a message. --Torchickens 06:40, 19 March 2012 (EDT)
- All right, I've sent him a message on Toriko Wiki. --Torchickens 07:21, 19 March 2012 (EDT)

Yo Starphoria, I'm in the IRC to begin discussions. -The Forgotten Beast 16:17, 19 March 2012 (EDT)
Meeting time(s)
I can pretty much come at any day. As for time, I have access to a computer between 10:00PM and 7:00AM. (Eastern time, North America) Yeah, I'm a bit of a night owl. Hope that won't be a problem. Star Light 23:40, 19 March 2012 (EDT)
Re: Saturday/To-Do List
Thanks for updating the featured article and poll! Occasionally, you'll find the original Game Boy Advance games on eBay. Here is currently a copy of Densetsu no Starfy 2 going for cheap. See also, some listings for Densetsu no Starfy and Densetsu no Starfy 3.
If they don't appear, then I can recommend a good website which currently has complete copies of Densetsu no Starfy and Densetsu no Starfy 3 in stock, called Solaris Japan.
The To-Do list looks good. Following our discussions on the IRC Chat on 19th March 2012, I've now sent a message to you and others via the NIWA forums listing all of the things we want to do for Densetsu no Starfy's 10th anniversary. I've elaborated on them to clarify what we want to do. --Torchickens 15:31, 28 March 2012 (EDT)

RE: IRC
Sorry for the late reply, but the only time I would probably be available is during the weekend at best and even then I may still not be on since I'm kind of busy with college at the moment. Kagegamer12 11:58, 6 April 2012 (EDT)
RE: A couple of things
I support this. It would be a more effective way to spread traffic to our affiliates, since you currently have to click on 'Affiliates' in the sidebar in order to see them. I don't think it wouldn't harm to keep "NIWA Wikis" on the sidebar, as we don't have too many non-NIWA affiliates so you don't have to scroll down much more.
Thanks for telling me about my talk page. I'll make an archive for it now, as it is starting to become quite large. --Torchickens 19:57, 13 April 2012 (EDT)
Re: To-Do List
Awesome, thanks a bunch! That would be helpful. :) I didn't actually make a to-do list for disambiguation pages, but I made a list of The Legendary Starfy soundtrack that you can find here. Basically, we need disambiguation pages for all the music which shares the same name as stages, minigames and options. For the others which don't or currently don't have multiple articles, we can redirect the main article to the music article (e.g. Mashtooth's Theme -> Mashtooth's Theme (song). --Torchickens 09:15, 25 April 2012 (CDT)

Re: Inactivity
Understood. No worries. I'm also inactive due to a 2500 word assignment I need to hand in for my Social Policy course, as well as an upcoming exam (26/05/12). It normally takes me a long time to write them, due to pressure on collecting academic references, among other things. I know if I spared time away from it, then I wouldn't be able to adequately get it done. Hope to hear from you again soon! --Torchickens 19:14, 4 May 2012 (CDT)
- Odd coincidence! Well I'll leave you a happy birthday message on your talk page for that date. Hopefully it won't be late... =) --Torchickens 17:07, 10 May 2012 (CDT)

Happy birthday Starphoria (Talk)! I'm sorry it was two days late. My exam also went all right. I've broke up now, so I should be available on Skype if you need me. --Torchickens 07:14, 19 May 2012 (CDT)
The Forgotten Beast (Talk) asked me to leave you a message
Hi Starphoria (Talk). The Forgotten Beast asked me to inform you that he won't be active on NIWA or Skype until an unknown date due to his computers having not worked for weeks. I understand that you might not be active here. Please let me know if you receive this message if possible. Thanks. --Torchickens 08:41, 22 May 2012 (CDT)

- Welcome back! --Torchickens 10:53, 5 June 2012 (CDT)
- I agree it's a bit disappointing. I couldn't go to E3 as I don't live in North America, but from the content I saw on the official site and other sources this years E3 doesn't seem as exciting as some of the last E3s, for instance E3 2010 revealed generally a broader range of Nintendo titles, such as Metroid: Other M, Kirby's Epic Yarn, Donkey Kong Country Returns. There are a few Nintendo published franchises which I'm excited about, but unfortunately perhaps not many that will last long. Project P-100 looks great, I haven't played any of Platinum Games/Clover Studio as it branched off from's other works, but I can see why people are comparing it to games like Viewtiful Joe.
- Pikmin 3 looks cool. I haven't played Pikmin 2, or actually ever beat the first Pikmin game, but Pikmin 3 looks like that kind of game that'll be enjoyable without playing any of the previous other games. Its also going to be a launch title I've heard, which is good. Nintendo revealed that Olimar was missing, possibly meaning that his role has changed in game or you have to rescue him this time. Nintendo Land and Game & Wario look interesting, but made me think of Wii Play, which was little more than a compilation of minigames which were great but didn't last very long. Nintendo revealed during the post-E3 round-table that the minigames in Nintendo Land are going to be substantial, but I'm not particularly sure how long they'll remain enjoyable with only 12 revealed minigames. Seeing Takamaru from Mysterious Murasame Castle starring in his own minigame was an interesting surprise, maybe we might see him in a new 3DS or Wii U installment in the near future? I'd personally like to see him and/or the Sablé Prince from For the Frog the Bell Tolls in SSB4 as one of the swordsman along with Magnus.
- There's some core upcoming third-party titles, meaning that there's probably going to be a lot to offer between those games, although I've never been interested in the first-person shooter genre, so at the moment the Wii U doesn't really suit me other than what was offered for the actual console. ZombiU looks interesting, so there might be a small chance that I'll play it, but other than that the only games that caught my attention were Rayman Legends and Scribblenauts Unlimited.
- There is still going to be another session later today focusing on Nintendo 3DS games, so this is the best chance we'll see some great new Nintendo games (crosses fingers for F-Zero) and perhaps a new Starfy game as unlikely as it might seem. Since The Legendary Starfy was shown at E3 2009 I guess it's possible! --Torchickens 07:08, 6 June 2012 (CDT)
- Yeah, Project P-100 will be published by Nintendo. The name of it kind of reminded me of the cancelled game Project Hammer, but it might be a coincidence. In the case of second-party games I often like to see games by a familiar publisher because you get the feeling that the game will be directed in a similar way to style that you're familiar with, and then it's also rather interesting to see how the game is presented. When Robopon was localized by Atlus, it was only released in the Sun version, meaning that you couldn't get all the Robopon without cheating, and the localisation generally wasn't particularly good. Not that I can blame Atlus, as they're a cool company and their largest franchise Shin Megami Tensei is supposedly great, but there didn't seem to be much attention in promoting that game.

- I'm looking forward to seeing the kind of gameplay NintendoLand has to offer, but I'm kind of worried that the game won't last that long, then again I bet it'd be great if the minigames are fun enough and there's a good incentive for getting a highscore! I think it would be cool to see something like a trophy or sticker collection of Nintendo characters á-la Super Smash Bros. and Kid Icarus: Uprising, where more than 12 Nintendo characters appear. One thing I noticed is that all the minigames are based on strictly Nintendo developed franchises, and there isn't something like a Kirby or Pokémon minigame. With all of the icons revealed it's a shame. I thought Samus' helmet was a fishing bobber at first as I was looking at it wrong, so I was originally thinking that a series like Shigesoi Itoi's Bass Fishing was coming back o_o.
- As for Scribblenauts Unlimited, in Super Scribblenauts I sometimes ended up writing crazy stuff without knowing how to properly solve the puzzle... Perhaps a few of those problems could be addressed. I like the way that Scribblenauts Unlimited game now takes part in one huge world rather than multiple stages, but I'm not particularly that interested in learning about Maxwell's story. In Super Scribblenauts there was a puzzle where you had to put three items in empty spaces, and I originally couldn't work out any three (four?) items that would solve all solutions, so then I just typed 'Cannibal Immortal Gate' to break the other gates that were blocking Maxwell from getting the Starite and for some reason it worked. xD
- Anyway, it's nice to know you have a lot of relatives to treat you to new Wii U/Nintendo 3DS games at Christmas. Unfortunately we're not in that much of a good financial situation at the moment. My mother went on a three-year nursing course and has now almost finished, but regrettably my father passed away two years ago from now. I'm having to learn to be more independent, as I have a mild case of social anxiety at times. --Torchickens 18:48, 6 June 2012 (CDT)
- Me too. It was really a pleasent surprise to hear Kid Icarus: Uprising was going to be revived! When it was announced, some people argued that Kid Icarus: Uprising diverts too much from the traditional platformer style gameplay, but I think this was actually a good thing as it allowed Project Sora to put a lot more imagination into the game. Much of the same doesn't harm as long as the gameplay is fulfilling, although I do think it's important to incorporate new ideas and have variety when possible.

- There have been new series in the last few years, but unfortunately some of them probably haven't been advertised well enough. It was nice how from 2008-2010 various series made it outside of Japan, including Magical Vacation/Starsign, The Legendary Starfy and Glory of Heracles but unfortunate not all of them made it to both North America and Europe. A revival to a 'classic' Nintendo game series hasn't been seen very often however. The last game like that was probably X-Scape, which is the sequel to an obscure Game Boy game called X from 1992. I'd particularly enjoy to see a sequel to Balloon Kid, Ice Climber or maybe Mole Mania.
- In a way, Nintendo have always remained innovative in their games; perhaps with an exception being before Donkey Kong when there were games such as Space Fever (a clone of Space Invaders) and Block Fever, however I don't think you could blame them for that. Games such as Sheriff (although I don't think it was very good) looked particularly interesting.
- I'm also looking forward to the new Luigi's Mansion and Paper Mario. In particular, I feel Paper Mario: Sticker Star is going to be a game that's going to keep me occupied over the holidays. It feels like a long time since a game closer to Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door was released, I enjoyed Super Paper Mario, but personally preferred the traditional action RPG from the first two games. I've never really been a fan of Fire Emblem, so I don't really have an opinion on it, though I heard rumours that Fire Emblem Awakening is going to be released in North America, one of them being that FireEmblemAwakening.com redirects you to the Nintendo website with the registrant as NoA. Another rumour was related to StreetPassing with a Japanese 3DS having a FEA panel and receiving the message that the puzzle isn't available yet, though that one could just be a generic message shown for all region-specific puzzle panels.
- I'm also sorry to hear about your losses. I'm glad to hear things are getting better though. --Torchickens 20:36, 6 June 2012 (CDT)
- Hey Starphoria, I thought I'd let you know that Reggie was asked on Twitter if Fire Emblem Awakening was coming to the US and he replied yes :D and well... that 3DS Conference was rather disappointing :/ --Torchickens 21:29, 6 June 2012 (CDT)
- I'm sorry for the late response. I sent The Forgotten Beast (Talk) a message about the CheckUser rights sometime ago, but then I got the message that he would be away until an unknown date, and didn't get a reply. I'd truly forgotten about it. I'm so sorry! I regret not staying on top of this Wiki.

- There weren't any other third party games in particular that interest me, but I might try Castlevania, since I've never actually played a Castlevania game. I agree that an Ice Climber sequel might become boring if it was only set in an ice setting. Perhaps, the game could be based on Popo and Nana returning to the ant/arctic or just setting out to explore new grounds; so then you'd not only be playing through an icy setting, but also rocky hills, plains based levels and other settings.
- One way that I feel the game might work is if, say there were side-scrolling levels like in Donkey Kong Country Returns. There could then be 'intermissions' where there is a large mountain that the Ice Climbers require to climb. Alternatively in some levels an avalanche or rockfall could happen which require the Ice Climbers to rush down the mountain. It would be cool if there were some vertical scrolling levels like in the original Ice Climber. I'm unsure how a different perspective would work (maybe it would become boring viewing the ice climbers from the side all of the time) but if there were to be avalanches in this game, something I'd like to see might be something like in 1080° Avalanche, where you rush down the stage. Instead of a skateboard, you could use something like a sleigh. --Torchickens 13:25, 14 June 2012 (CDT)

Welcome back
Hey. Welcome back Starphoria (Talk). You OK? I've been enjoying Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. --Torchickens (talk) 04:44, 25 October 2012 (CDT)
- Nice to see you here again. That's OK. Did you have a good Christmas? --Torchickens (talk) 04:59, 8 February 2013 (CST)
- Great :). I got a Wii U and a few other presents, like chocolates. I haven't really been into Nintendo Land. The first few days I had it I just focused on completing New Super Mario Bros. U. Recently I've been playing through different Kirby games, like Kirby's Dream Land 3. --Torchickens (talk) 07:12, 10 February 2013 (CST)
- I haven't played Nintendo Land much. I like how in Zelda Battle Quest, Metroid Blast and Pikmin Adventure, there's an incentive to keep playing because of the different levels, but I guess once you've cleared those it might get a little repetitive? New Super Mario Bros. U is the best of the NSMB games in my opinion, but like all of the NSMB it's quite short. I think it's good fun, though.

Re:Hi
Thanks Kyle. I only wish there was a new game coming out in the series. Good luck on your decision to be the site rep. Have you been up to much? I recently imported Scribblenauts Unlimited from Australia because it never came out here in Europe, but now I've heard that it's coming out here in December. --Torchickens (talk) 16:10, 7 September 2013 (UTC)
