- March 18, 2012 - One year ago today, NIWA friend, Axiomist (Joshua LeJeune) passed away. Starting as an administrator on Zelda Wiki, then founding member of NIWA and owner of WiKirby, his passion and dedication to NIWA and many other websites remains imprinted in many projects to this day. Our thoughts are with Josh's family through this difficult time.

- February 21, 2012 - Starfy Wiki welcomes the Japanese The Legendary Starfy series fan-art blog 今更 imasara, who became our first non-English language affiliate!
