The Blimp is a vehicle in Densetsu no Starfy and Densetsu no Starfy 2. It looks like a hot air balloon. When using it, Starfy holds on to the rope. It is taught to Starfy by Old Man Mechani in both games.

In Densetsu no Starfy 2, Old Man Mechani is found in Gluglug Lagoon (Stage 2-3). The Blimp can be upgraded by meeting Old Man Mechani again in the same location after defeating Ogura for the first time. The upgraded version unlocks extra secret levels in certain stages in addition to the ones unlocked after completing the main game. With the upgraded version it looks more like a mini blimp. The upgrade allows Starfy to be able to move faster by using the B button to activate its jet.
