I'm fairly sure 'ひきさきぬま' refers to how the lake/pond/swamp kind of resembles a tear in the landscape (not the liquid but like a tear after ripping something) but this is an educated guess. If you look at it from the [[Stage Select]] or the [[Map (Areas)|City]], it forms a 'C' like shape. I think your translation may have been too literal, as according to [http://www.tanoshiijapanese.com/dictionary/entry_details.cfm?entry_id=15920&element_id=24428&conjugation_type_id=10 here], 'hikisaki' means to tear up. It's not in my dictionary but ひきさく is and means the same thing. I guess it must be a different conjugation or something.

I'm fairly sure 'ひきさきぬま' refers to how the lake/pond/swamp kind of resembles a tear in the landscape (not the liquid but like a tear after pulling something apart) but this is an educated guess. If you look at it from the Stage Select or the City, it forms a 'C' like shape. I think your translation may have been out of context, as according to here, 'hikisaki' also means to tear up.
