I thought it was also worth mentioning that King Delarin, the main antagonist of For the Frog the Bell Tolls is a snake. It might be coicidental though... as I don't know what 'de' means. --Torchickens 04:14, 8 May 2012 (CDT) | I thought it was also worth mentioning that King Delarin, the main antagonist of For the Frog the Bell Tolls is a snake. I'm pretty sure Dejiru is actually based more on a white snake, rather than an eel. A direct translation of ジール, jīru is zeal. I found it rather interesting that there is a Chinese legend called Legend of the White Snake. While the story of Densetsu no Starfy 4 doesn't quite match up with the legend, and maybe it wasn't really worth mentioning, there are some similarities with it, namely the way that Starfy falls in love with Mattel, although Mattel isn't revealed to be Dejiru.
I think Dejiru is more of a snake is the way that she coils up in her own body mass (video by Messhi), and how Dejiru wasn't always seen underwater. (though I might be mistaken) She also slivers like a snake at the end of the best ending.
I thought it was also worth mentioning that King Delarin, the main antagonist of For the Frog the Bell Tolls is a snake. It might be coicidental though... as I don't know what 'de' means. --Torchickens 04:14, 8 May 2012 (CDT)
